    Description

Conset Tilemate TG – EP Grout is an epoxy resin based three-part specifically formulation grout with high flow properties capable of placing in gaps down to 10mm. The epoxy resin formulation enables TG EP Grout to be used in the most demanding situations giving exceptional mechanical strength. The volume stable mix design ensures complete fill of the grouted area and contact with the work piece.

The three-part formulation gives good chemical resistance to most chemicals attack and to provide a durable, abrasion resistant waterproof finish that is hygienic and impervious. The cured grout does not transfer taints to foodstuffs, permit the entry of bacteria, or dirt and is easily maintained in a sterile condition.

    Fields of Application
    • Adhesive and grouting applications of surface coating materials such as antiacid porcelain tiles, granite, etc.
    • In industries like food, textile, pharmaceutical and hospitals, thermal swimming pools where hygiene is required.
    • In industrial places where high chemical and mechanical strength required.
    • Laboratory benches and commercial kitchen working areas.
    • Provides excellent results for joints in saline or thermal swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants.

    Properties
    • Excellent bonding.
    • Highly resistant to heavy traffic.
    • Can be applied on vertical surface.
    • Easily trowellable.
    • Excellent chemical and mechanical resistance.
    • Stain resistant.
    • Hygienic thanks to its low water.
    • Easy to clean thanks to its smooth surface.
    • Crack, abrasion resistant and durable.
    • Easy to apply with 60 minutes pot life at 250C

    Warnings
    • Ventilate the work area during the application.
    • Wear gloves, goggles / mask when working.
    • In case of skin and eye contact wash with plenty of water.
    • For further information refer to safety data sheet.
    • Do not mix the product with water or solvents.
    • Do not use for grouting porous stones and ceramics. Epoxy resin may effect the color.
    • Remove excess product from tile surface rapidly because once hardened it will have to be removed
    • mechanically.
    • When the products are exposed to UV rays colours may darken.

    How to Use

    • The joints must be clean, free of dust, oil etc. and emptied at least 2/3 of the tile thickness.
    • Pour the grout on the tiles, spread the grout by the help of a rubber trowel and work the grout diagonally across the joints, packing them full. Remove excess grout off the tile using the edge of rubber trowel by diagonal movements and avoid pulling the grout out of filled joints.
    • Clean the excess grout using a damp sponge soaked in soap and water mixture, by making light circular movements on tile surface and joints. Change the cleaning water and sponge as often as needed.
    • Continue cleaning until eliminating the product from the surface of the tiles completely without removing it from joints.
