Surface preparation
First, CONSET PRIMER is applied to these surfaces, which are rather absorbent. This will ensure reduction of surface absorbency and proper adhesion. There is no need to apply CONSET PRIMER over gypsum panels, for which waterproofing has been performed.

Tile Application and Grouting
Gypsum Panels are surface with higher expansion compared to normal moving partition walls. This is why the adhesive and grouting to be used has to be highly flexible. Performance of TILEMATE 1001 Acrylic Adhesives on gypsum surface in ceramic application is very successful. Cement based TILEMATE or TILEMATE 303 Adhesive mortar may also be preferred in the adhesion application. TILEMATE TGFÂ TILEMATE TG-EP should be preferred as grouting.
