Surface preparation
Defects, cracks, and broken points should be fixed with CONSET 45 TF Fine repair mortar, Coarse repair mortar. (CONSET 45 TC) Structural repair mortar. Use of CONSET PRIMER prior to adhesion process in order to reduce surface absorbency, and prevent dusting is recommended.
Tile Application and Grouting
Two component TILEMATE FLEX-2K 505 or TILEMATE -PU 808 Adhesive mortar should be used on the exteriors ofbuildings up to 30 meters of height for the adhesion of large sized ceramic, granite ceramic and similar coating materials. Adhesion must certainly be performed with combined method. Combined Method involves the application of the adhesive mixture both to the back of coating materials as well as the surface. (On the exterior,must not be used in adhesion of coating materials bigger than 60X60 cm up to 15 meter of height and bigger than 40X40 cm up to 30 meter of height)
TILEMATE TG-F, TG-EP flexible grouting, resistant to exterior condition, should be used in grouting application. In case the facade, to which coating will be applied, is a plane facade without any window, then an expansion joint should be left in both horizontal and vertical direction at every 4-5meter, and these joints should be filled with CONSET PU-40 Polyurethane Sealant.
